Non-Bank Financial Institutions Regulatory Authority in Botswana requires Director - Insurance & Pensions.

The Non Bank Financial Institutions Regulatory Authority (NBFIRA) is the regulator of all non-banking financial entities registered in Botswana. Its purpose is to safeguard the stability, fairness and efficiency of the non-banking financial sector, and ensure that regulation is in line with international best practice. As a key player in the country's financial sector, NBFIRA seeks only the brightest minds to join them in their quest to ensure regulatory excellence.

NBFIRA is seeking an experienced and proactive individual to take on the exciting role of Director - Insurance and Pensions. In playing a leading role in the organization you must be capable of making a positive impact quickly. You will have outstanding ability as a leader and experience working in an insurance and pensions regulatory environment.

Reporting to the Deputy CEO (Regulatory), you will be a member of ExCo and will lead in the development and review of the regulatory framework for the Insurance and Pension markets. In addition, your key responsibilities will include: human capital management; development and review of the consumer protection and public awareness policies; review of fee and levy structures; budget management; and review of license applications.

You will have a relevant Masters degree, accompanied with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position.
